Society of St. Vincent de Paul
"For all the benefactors of the poor, that God may reward them abundantly" — serving families across our community with dignity, compassion, and practical help.
Serving Christ in Our Neighbours
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization dedicated to living the Gospel by serving those in need, one person at a time. Our parish conference responds to requests from families and individuals across southeast Calgary facing financial hardship, food insecurity, or crisis.
Members conduct confidential home visits, listen with compassion, and offer practical assistance — from grocery gift cards and utility bill support to furniture and referrals to other community resources. Every visit begins and ends in prayer.
New members are always welcome. No special training is required to start — just a willingness to encounter Christ in the poor.
